Living Area

The expansive open plan living area at Kittiwake Cottage has been cleverly divided into different sections. Overlooking the pretty courtyard terrace is the comfy lounge with chic wicker sofa and armchair that are ideally placed for watching the flat-screen TV with access to Netflix using your own account, or snuggling in front of the woodstove. Double doors open out on to a Juliette balcony that is a wonderful feature in the warm summer months.

An elegant kitchen is located along the rear wall of the living area and continues the contemporary décor thanks to modern work units and pale blue tiles that blend in beautifully with the rest of the cottage's design. Integrated appliances in the kitchen include a dishwasher, a cooker with electric hob, a fridge, a freezer and a washing machine; a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods is also provided.

Situated beside double frosted patio doors is the charming antique cream-painted round dining table and four chairs, which have been hand painted in various shades of blue.

Bedroom 1

Sloped ceilings and large wood beams give bedroom 1 real character that has been beautifully combined with stylish furniture and tasteful décor. At the heart of the bedroom, which has a contemporary feel, is a gorgeous antique painted French double bed that is smoothly complimented by two bedside cabinets, a large chest of drawers and a freestanding ornamental wardrobe.

Beautiful pale blue tiles adorn the walls of bedroom one's en-suite bathroom that has been finished to a very high standard and features a large walk-in shower. The bright and airy bathroom also includes a character circular wash-hand basin fitted onto a marble counter and antique washstand, a mirror with overhead light, a heated towel rail and a loo.

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 has plenty of flexibility to suit either couples or families with handy zip and link beds that allow the room to be made up as either a double or a twin, depending on your requirements. Like the rest of the cottage the bedroom has been tastefully decorated with character furniture and classic white walls.

Bedroom 2 benefits from its own stylish en-suite bathroom complete with large walk-in shower and antique washstand with attractive circular wash-hand basin. There is also a decorative built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves. A heated towel rail and a loo complete the bathroom.

Garden & Terrace

To the front of Kittiwake Cottage is a nice courtyard terrace with antique metal table and chairs. Here alfresco meals can be enjoyed amongst the colourful potted plants. A BBQ is also provided.

Wander past the courtyard and there is almost an acre of established gardens to explore, including a pretty apple orchard. At the garden's border is a small river and is perfect for summer picnics and playing games.
